What I help with
About me
I came to therapy later in life, after doing many different jobs, from running a cleaning business to working on building sites. I’ve also known loss, anxiety and difficult periods myself. I think many men value therapy that feels straightforward and a therapist they can relate to. Qualifications matter, but so do trust, connection and being able to talk without feeling judged.
My approach with men
I work with men without assuming that masculinity, strength or anger are problems in themselves. We can look at what may sit underneath difficulties — pressure, shame, relationships, identity, responsibility, loss or ways of coping that no longer help. I aim to be straightforward, curious and non-judgemental, while still being willing to challenge patterns when that is useful.
How we get started
I offer a free 10-minute initial video consultation. It gives us a chance to meet briefly, talk about what you are looking for and see whether working together feels like a good fit. There is no obligation. If you decide to continue, we agree the practical arrangements and book our first session.
