What I help with
About me
Hi I’m Richard, a psychotherapist specialising in men's mental health, based in Chancery Lane and Southwark, and online. I currently have availability for new clients on Thursday evening and Friday morning. I'm BACP and UKCP registered and support men with anxiety, relationships, sex issues, self-esteem, life purpose, and work issues. I trained at The Minster Centre, one of the UK’s leading institutes for counselling and psychotherapy. I have a background in marketing, photojournalism and TV production, so understand the business world and importance of communication.
My approach with men
Many men seek therapy when they feel stressed, overwhelmed, stuck, unlovable, or uncertain about relationships, work, or life direction. I provide a confidential space to talk and explore openly. My approach is both reflective and practical: taking time to understand what concerns you, whilst also focusing on how you can move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and purpose. My clients come from all ages, relationship status, sexualities, and professions. I understand how societal and familial expectations can affect your relationships, esteem, and sense of purpose.
How we get started
Message me and we’ll schedule a free 30 minute chat. It’s an opportunity to talk through what’s brought you to therapy, what you hope to achieve, and to ask any questions you might have.
