What I help with
About me
I'm Darrell, a BACP-registered therapist working online with men across the UK. I started this work because I know what it's like to feel completely lost. I struggled with identity issues, anxiety, relied on substances to feel confident enough to talk to people, and let anger damage relationships I cared about. Getting through that wasn't about getting it right every time. It was about showing up consistently and realising I didn't have to do it alone. That's what I bring to this work now: someone who's been through it and genuinely wants to help you find your way through too.
My approach with men
I work actively and collaboratively, not silently. I don't just reflect back what you say. I'll offer honest observations, ask direct questions, and give guidance or a straight suggestion when it's useful. My training is person-centred, so you set the direction and the pace. But I take an active part in getting you there, drawing on coaching, CBT and mindfulness where it helps. You can expect a steadier sense of who you are, less shame about how you've been coping, and more clarity on where you're heading.
How we get started
Get in touch, and we'll arrange a free 20-minute call. It's a no-pressure conversation to see if we're a good fit and to answer any questions you have. If we decide to go ahead, we'll book your first session, which takes place online and lasts 50 minutes.
