What I help with
About me
Hi, my name's Tom and I'm a qualified and registered Therapeutic Counsellor from south Wales. As well as working in therapy, I have many years' experience working in the third/charity sector, helping clients identify their needs and signposting or referring as needed. I work online, using Zoom to host confidential sessions. I also offer outdoor Walk & Talk sessions to clients in the Bridgend/Port Talbot area (one-to-one sessions).
My approach with men
My clients often mention how relieved they are to find a male therapist. I feel it's vitally important for male therapists to be more seen in our profession, to model safety and emotional openness to men. In my work with the LGBT community, that sense of relief, safety and non-judgement can be even harder to find, and so my work as a gay cis man is a huge focus for me. I'm a trained Humanist-Existential therapist, which really means we use talk therapy to look at what it's like to be you, in your world, and how you navigate that.
How we get started
I can be reached by email or WhatsApp to arrange a free 15 minute consultation, where we can work out what your aims/goals might be, and whether you're happy for us to work together. You can find more details on www.enfyscounselling.com
