What I help with
About me
I am a UKCP-accredited psychotherapist with a first degree in psychology and a doctorate in existential psychotherapy. My work delves into issues such as shame, pressure to conform and the inability to connect with yourself, your body, and your emotions. I usually work with men at the intersection between race, neurodiversity, social class and faith who may feel that they are different, unable to be themselves, or are dissatisfied with themselves or with their lives.
My approach with men
I am quite open and easy to talk to, and I think I do well with men who are nervous about coming to therapy, who find it hard to open up or who have unusual issues that cause them shame. I prefer to work in a flexible, client-centred and integrative manner, drawing from different approaches, depending on your needs and preferences. I aim to create a space where you can feel safe, understood and listened to, and then therapy begins by learning who and how you are, so that collaboratively we can shape ways in which you can grow, heal and change.
