What I help with
About me

Clinical experience in NHS, mental health charities, Crisis Service, university counselling team, and through my own private practice. MSc in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy, a BSc in Psychology, a Certificate in Understanding Autism, and a professional certificate in management and leadership. I have run local support groups for: adults with autism/ADHD; Coping with Grief; Managing Anxiety; and LGBTQ+ mental health
My approach with men
We can carry a lot of expectations of what it means to be a man and it can be a lonely place. Mental health challenges and coping strategies can show up differently for men: sometimes shutting down, withdrawing, risk-taking, anger, over-working, drink & drugs, sex/porn use, perfectionism, self-criticism and so forth. It can be a relief to learn that you are not alone, like many trying to cope with life's stuff. After many clients, I'm unshockable, non-judging, compassionate and can help you through things that may feel confusing, to find solutions and move forward.
How we get started
Starting with a free 20 minute call to hear your situation and you can decide if I'm right for you. I can answer your questions and offer initial thoughts on how therapy might help. You may then book an assessment session for 60 minutes to explain how you could reach your therapy goals.
