What I help with
About me
Based in Crouch End (London), I have been practising since 2016 and am an accredited counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have a long history of working with male clients of all ages and background. Self-image, anxiety and depression is where I have the strongest experience.
My approach with men
I believe there's still a long way to go in order for many men to feel truly ready to start therapy. As men we're still often prone to fears of judgement or not being seen as a 'real' man if we say out loud things like: 'I feel vulnerable', 'I'm totally overwhelmed', 'I have no clue where to start', 'I'm scared'.... Therapy with me offers a non-judgemental yet curious approach, as well as years of experience. I believe therapy should be supportive, while also challenging you (a bit like going to the gym!). It's a partnership: two of us work together to move you forward.
How we get started
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to initially understand if I can help with your specific problem. If we both agree, after that we'll meet for an initial session - here I'll gather more detailed information, set out next steps, and answer any questions.
