What I help with

About me

My name is Richard Mann and I am an integrative counsellor offering short term and long term therapy in North London. I have worked with the NHS and in private practice I offer online counselling across the UK and abroad. I am passionate about the difference therapy can make to your life and my experience is in Men's Issues (Infidelity, Compulsive Sexual Behaviour and Shame), Alcohol and Drug Addiction, Relationship Issues, LGBTQIA+ issues (Gay, Bisexual, Non-Binary, Transgender, Polyamory and CNM and Kink) and Neurodiversity (Autistic and ADHD). I look forward to working with you.

My approach with men

My approach on working with men is to create a welcoming space where they feel that they can freely be themselves and can share openly without judgement. We are taught from an early age to be strong and not show our feelings and it can be daunting talking for the first time. I offer a gentle approach so that you can take your time to explore your feelings when you are ready. I can also offer insight into why ,at times we feel angry, anxious or simply want to escape and I also have a range of techniques that can offer help with stress, depression, relationship and anger management issues.

How we get started

The most important part of therapy is the relationship between us and we start by getting to know each other and to understand your needs. You might want to make a change or need a space to talk openly about your issues but we start by seeing how therapy can help make a difference in your life.
