What I help with

About me

I am a Master's Degree qualified Integrative Psychotherapist. I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and am a fully Registered and Senior Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have been in private practice for over 15 years, and have also managed a counselling service, worked in schools, psychiatric care residences, and for mental health charities.

My approach with men

My Master's dissertation enquired into how individual men, and the male psychotherapist, may not be received on their own merits, but against a context of patriarchy and what we now call toxic masculinity. I aim to receive each man as a person in his own right, without prejudice and with genuine interest. My practice has always been majority male, and my experience of men's mental health matters is wide and varied.

How we get started

Email, call or text to enquire after my availability. Our first meeting will be an assessment session then, should we agree, we proceed to regular sessions.
